Educational programmes for schools and groups

„At Bee World, we believe that the best learning is what children experience for themselves.“

That is why we offer interactive educational programmes that combine discovery, creativity, cooperation and fun.

Participants will discover the fascinating world of bees, their lives, their importance to people and nature, and the work of a beekeeper. The programmes are adapted to the age of visitors and encourage children to explore nature, think independently and develop a responsible relationship with the environment.

If you prefer an independent visit, you can book just a tour of the exhibition, optionally combined with making a candle or herbal salt.

What will you experience with us?

  • you will walk through a giant beehive among the honeycombs

  • you will observe live bees in a glass hive

  • you will explore bee anatomy using a touchscreen monitor

  • you will try communicating like a bee

  • you will listen to the sounds of a beehive

  • you will play themed quizzes and games

  • you will learn about the work of a beekeeper and their equipment

  • you will watch short films about the lives of bees

  • you will find out what threatens bees and how we can help them

  • you will learn about plants providing bee forage in the herb garden

  • you will see a house for solitary bees and other pollinators

  • you will follow the educational trail through the Bee World garden

And you may discover that the world of bees is much more fascinating than you have ever imagined.
